OCTOBER
Octoberfest/Halloween Party
The piano parties give students the opportunity to play in front of their peers, siblings, and friends. Students get dressed up in their Halloween costumes, play spooky songs on the piano and digital piano, have musical games, go bobbing for apples, and enjoy Halloween treats. |
|
 |
DECEMBER
Holiday Piano Party
Students enjoy good holiday spirits and songs as they play Christmas and Channukah pieces for each other, eat home-baked cookies provided by the generosity of parents of the students, and have fun with holiday activites where students share and learn about each other's traditions.

MARCH
Spring/Irish Party
This party has a green theme, including green cookies and other treats. A special part about this party is that the majority of the pieces being performed at this party are either original pieces created by the students themselves (usually with a springtime type theme), or original arrangements by Mr. Nazzaro of traditional Irish/Celtic pieces, created using the studio's music technology such as MIDI and Finale, a professional music notation software program for playback and printouts. Original compositions are written with the help of the teacher during the year and are a terrific learning component to this studio.

MAY
Annual Spring Recitals
Students here showcase their talents and hard work they have done throughout the year for their parents, relatives, peers, and friends. Pieces will be from a variety of styles and genres, including classical, jazz, blues, popular, and new age, as well as original pieces students have composed during the year. This is a very memorable event for parents and students, (and teachers!) because we are all very proud of these hard working people.
