Flexible for Busy Families

The Mini Sessions at the studio is meant to be flexible and fit in with most family’s schedules. You only need to sign up for three of the four lessons offered, so if you are not available for a certain week, you simply don’t sign up for that week. There are many benefits to continuing lessons in the summer, including studying pieces of your choice and the opportunity to add to your digital recordings. You need to discuss your summer plans with your family and your child. What is most important is that your child enjoy the piano and music, and not be forced to move ahead.

Relaxed Snapshot Session

The Mini Sessions are an excellent way to try out lessons for any student thinking of starting or continuing lessons. While it is recommended to try lessons for one full year to give an accurate picture of lessons, this session is designed to give a “snapshot” of lessons at the studio. Remember, just like playing a sport, ice skating, dancing, or learning a foreign language, music proficiency takes time to develop.

Lesson Days and Times

Lessons are on Tuesdays or Wednesdays for Session 1, and Wednesdays for Session 2 from roughly 3:00 to 9:00 pm based on availability of teachers. Lessons begin May 28/29, and end July 16 (no lesson on July 2/3). Involvement in the June and July Mini Sessions does not guarantee a time for the academic year schedule. Please ask for availability when inquiring.

Payments

Lessons for students are $60 for 45 minutes, which is due when reserving times. Materials will be billed once each month. (Usually around $15) A minimum of 3 lessons must be taken. All payments upon receipt are not refundable. Online recordings cost $15.

Practicing Guidelines

Practicing is at the heart of continued success. Parents are asked to provide a specific time each day and an appropriate atmosphere for the instructions on the lesson plan. A minimum guideline is usually five thirty-minute practices per week for beginners. See the Weekly Practice Schedule.

Parental Involvement

Please be sure to read our helpful articles for helpful ways to encourage your child. Please keep the studio informed with how lessons go each week. Parent, student, and teacher communication is an important key for your child’s enjoyment and success in music.

To reserve your time now, call (908) 232-3310 or email Info@NazzaroMusic.com. Space is limited.
